Can Artificial Intelligence (AI) Benefit Small Business Owners?

Artificial Intelligence is a hot buzzword thrown around by many people nowadays, but it seems so far from day-to-day small business applications. During my time in corporate America, I would get excited about the possibility of using AI only to be let down at the application of products at our disposal. Most of these products come from the Microsoft application suite. Now that I've been freed up to explore products outside of that ecosystem, it's opened my eyes to how small businesses might be the best place to implement these cutting-edge technologies.

I've gathered a list of a few products that can really help a business owner willing to learn something new. I hope you enjoy the read.

AI Copywriting

As the leader of a digital marketing company, writing copy is a big-time consumer. Being a start-up with a small budget doesn't lend itselfw ell to higher someone for every task on the list. That's where a product like jarvis.ai comes in. This product will rewrite the copy you've already used and spice it up, adding some new flavor while retaining your original message. It can help with SEO and writing Title and Meta Descriptions that will please Google's algorithm. There is also a cool new feature called Boss Mode that will write entire blogs for you. The Boss Mode feature isn't ready for prime time and does require significant editing to produce a blog up to my standards. Having words on a page is very useful, though, and can help with writer's block. This AI copywriting tool will not be putting humans out of business any time soon, but it can increase the productivity of a small business owner willing to give it a try.

AI Video Creation

As a content creator for social media, I'm always looking for content with the most ROI. We have to create content that gets results is small, so we have to use the time we have efficiently. When creating videos, it's essential to have clean intros, outro's and overlays to help your videos stand out. It takes time and talent to create those deliverables, but a new tool speeds up the process, and it's called viddyoze.com. Viddyoze uses pre-existing templates and your branding/copy and combines it with their AI engine. The process takes around ten minutes, depending on the length of the video and your subscription level. If you desire to improve your content and have a little time to learn the product, it can set your business apart from the competition on social media, website, advertising.

AI Spokesperson

This software also produces video with AI but in a slightly different way. The way it works is you write the script and pick the avatar plus some other design elements. The AI then takes all of that information and creates a video with the avatar reading your writing and gets this the avatar is a natural human face. There is even an option for a custom avatar that will allow you to use your face or even an employee's face in official business communications. If you have to be on camera, you know how much time it can take to produce the end product. This software speeds this up and allows you to focus on growing your business. The product is called synthesia.io, and it can be a game-changer for an adventurous business owner.

The world is changing faster each day. As small business owners, we need to evolve to keep up with our competitors with more capital and manpower. AI can be a way to level the playing field, but it will be the early adopters who prosper. I hope you take the time to look into these tools and incorporate them into your day-to-day operations. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I wish all of you great success.
